Kendel Fisher
Rev. Kendel Fisher was born in New Albany, Mississippi, to Bryan and Catrina Fisher. He is the eldest of three children and was raised in Ripley, Mississippi, where he attended the public school system and graduated from Ripley High School in 2014.
Rev. Fisher is a devoted member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Falkner, Mississippi, where he has faithfully served under the leadership of Pastor James Howell. At the age of 18, on June 11, 2015, he accepted his call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Just a few months later, on September 6, 2015, at the age of 19, he delivered his initial sermon at his home church. Since then, the Lord has blessed him with numerous opportunities to preach the Gospel throughout the state of Mississippi and beyond.
On March 8, 2020, Rev. Fisher was ordained at his home church, affirming his commitment to serve God’s people in a greater capacity. Soon after, on January 30, 2021, he was elected as the Pastor of Beth-el Missionary Baptist Church in Starkville, Mississippi, where he continues to labor with love, dedication, and vision.
Rev. Fisher is also committed to his academic and spiritual growth. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, aiming to be further equipped for ministry.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Rev. Fisher is a devoted husband to his wife, Regina Jones Fisher, and together they are proud parents of their beloved daughter, Raylee Fisher. His life and ministry are guided by a passion for preaching, teaching, and equipping God’s people to live faithfully for Christ, leaving a lasting impact on both the church and the community.
